Education and experience

Export-Import
• Order Management & Customer service
• Responsible for Export logistics co-ordination & planning. Maintaining shipment tracker and measuring service performance, review with service providers periodically.
• Coordinate and deal with different partners i.e. Freight Forwarders, shippers, Clearance teams, planners etc. BOE & Shipping Bill Amendment follow-up.
• Getting required services through better planning of Export/Imports consignments, allotments, tracking & meet deliveries as per requirements
• Coordination with group companies and Logistic service providers for appropriate decisions to meet business requirements.
• Ensure operational issues are registered and resolved or escalated to next level within time frame and most efficient possible manner.
• Forwarder’s bill validation, recording and maintenance of records.
• Approval Export/Import of Checklist / BL Draft for filing bill of entry / SB, clearance instructions to CHA & Timely duty payment.
• Should have worked on ERP (Preferably SAP), should be well versed with English, MS- Excel for analysis & reporting purposes.
• Should have awareness on international trade – Inco-terms, Free Trade Agreement, logistics
• Should maintain, check and control all statutory documents, Freight bills etc.
• Ensure to issue Certificate of Origin as per Country wise needs for Export consignment
• Submission of Export documents to Finance such as Invoice, Packing List, BL or AWB and Shipping Bill on monthly basis
• Maintaining Export Tracker Excel Sheet on daily basis as required by Finance Dept.
• Maintaining DHL and FedEx Courier shipments status on daily basis
• Submission of Forwarder’s and Clearing Agents bill on weekly basis.
• Maintaining Shipping Notification in SAP system for non-EDI Origins invoices.
• Monthly data on Premium Freight
• Basic knowledge on Government incentives, EPCG/Advance license Licenses and any other incentive Scheme which Government may announce from time to time
• Timely clearance of Check List and payment to DGFT on Steel Item import (SIMS)
