This position requires frequent travel.

Role and responsibilities
  • Define growth and profit strategy at the customer (which product, when, on which car)
  • Short-term as well as mid-term targets and strategy behind.
  • Customer portfolio development.
  • Sales monitoring 
  • Manage and maintain key commercial metrics.
  • Footprint rationalization for global accounts and opportunities.
  • Prepare KAP and share with the management. 
  • Understand application evolutions in the vehicle since they shape the client needs at 3-5 years time horizon.
  • Understand product/process strategy to anticipate client needs and his pain points.
  • Analyze the market trends and customer product portfolio and applications to generate a roadmap of potential new products with the collaboration and support of the application leads, product line manager and Product Development Teams.
  • Generate a close relation with players prospect new potentials.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our product line.
  • Manage regional/global new products RFQs and elaborate techno-economical proposals to customer.
  • Prepare quotations and be rigorous in the follow up until closing status. Analysis of rejection reasons to improve where necessary.
  • Contract and prices negotiation
  • Crisis and risk management.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to build relationships, understand pain points and identify future product line commercial opportunities.
  • Knowledge around product, customer but also of process and competition.
  • Support the product development process up to final customer validation (from customer need up to sample validation for serial production). 
  • Strong collaboration with product development, quality, logistics Depts. and the OPM (Operational Project Manager) - multifunctional team for industrializations.
  • Has a strong ability to work through others and assess and drive organizational focus on the main issues and opportunities.
  • Collaboration with A. Raymond network for multinational/global clients and be an important team player for collaboration teams if needed (Trim global team, electric global team…)
  • Support and participate to Network communities providing a strategic approach and point of view.
  • Coordinates the budgeting process of his/her customers together with the BD Director under yearly basis.
  • Delivers on talent commitments to achieve the annual plan objectives.
Education and experience
  • BS (bachelor’s in science) desirable or have shown enough capability and experience (more than 5 years into the sales department to demonstrate potential success in this role).
  • Demonstrated experience managing OEM/TIER 1 accounts for automotive market.
  • Proficient experience in Automotive Sales especially in the fasteners industry is highly desirable.
