Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, performs all tasks necessary to ensure the customers receive quality parts in a timely manner. Maintains a high level of accuracy in a clean and efficient manner.
Ruolo e responsabilità
- Comply with all internal and OSHA required safety procedures and regulations.
- Off-loads product from assigned injection molding machines as documented on the OIS including:
- Ensures parts that are bagged match the first piece inspection parts.
- Read/Understand Operator Instruction sheet, including use of gages.
- Weighs product to confirm count.
- Affixes the correct label to the bag.
- Places into the appropriate carton.
- Verifies the label is correct, per process sheet, and in proper location on the carton.
- Responsible for 5-S in their assigned area by always maintaining a clean and organized work area, as well as ensuring all previously run parts and materials have been removed from the press area and any spilled material is cleaned immediately.
- Participate in and contribute to ATOMS CI and OpEx initiatives and provide input on how to continuously improve our safety, quality, and cost performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Overtime (Occasionally Mandatory)
Formazione ed esperienza
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven alertness, precision, and methodical attributes.
- Proven high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven organizational skills.
- Knowledge of 5S and SMED philosophy – preferred, but not required.
- Experience in injection molding – preferred, but not required
- Manufacturing experience – preferred, but not required
- Basic computer skills – preferred, but not required
Skills
- Ability to lift 55 pounds.
- Standing, bending, lifting, and walking on a cement floor daily.
- Visual demands while looking at parts.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
- Must be able to work in the U.S.
