We are seeking an HR Manager who can actively lead the establishment and continuous improvement of our human resources management in a future-oriented manner aligned with our strategic goals. The position holder works closely with the management team to create a purpose driven organization with a culture of servant leadership, diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and development. The HR Manager oversees the general Human Resources functional area with an emphasis on organizational development. This position will work closely with all levels of the organization including regional and global HR teams to promote collaborative initiatives and best practices.
Role and responsibilities
- You define the HR strategy of the organization to achieve the vision and strategic goals. You are responsible for the implementation of this strategy by proposing innovative and advanced HR solutions, in line with the global HR policy.
- You contribute to the local Management team by facilitating and bringing HR information and view on the topics.
- You provide support to the organization in term of talent development, organization, disciplinary processes, and legal questions.
- You manage the performance management process and compensation & benefits policy.
- You work closely with the HR teams of the network to bring the best advice and solutions to the employees.
- Under the validation of local MD, you define the resources plan and are responsible for the recruitment.
- You are responsible for the HR budget of the organization: definition, follow-up, respect.
- You must ensure that policies, procedures, and practices are consistently administrated aligned with company goals and in compliance with the local labor law.
- You lead HR projects in the field of talent development, skills development, compensation & benefits, diversity, safety & security.
- You lead HR Operations: such as training, payroll and working time follow-up, reporting, health & safety, on boarding.
- You take care of the internal HR Communication.
- You are a strong contributor to the Network HR Community.
- You are the local contact for the compliance topics lead by the network and related to the HR matters (for e.g. GDPR, CSR, Code of Conduct)
Education and experience
- University degree with a focus on human resources, business psychology or comparable qualification
- Extensive, long-standing experience in operational and strategic HR management, preferably in an industrial environment and international context
- Sound knowledge of Japanese labor
