Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on all presses and equipment, along with some building maintenance. Participates in Continuous Improvement activities to support company objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and robotics.
- Fabricate and repair equipment as needed.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed.
- Perform building maintenance as needed.
- Use of safe job procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Other related duties and/or projects as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years’ experience working in a maintenance repair position.
- Previous experience in injection molding machine maintenance/ repair - preferred but not required.
- Some knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) - preferred but not required.
- Some knowledge of robotics - preferred but not required.
- Some college courses or technical school - preferred but not required.
- SAP experience - preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic blueprints and ladder logic.
- Basic computer skills for entering data in the preventative maintenance database (SAP).
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work closely with others in a collaborative team environment.
- Professional demeanor and ethical conduct, including handling confidential information appropriately.
- Frequent bending, twisting, climbing, and walking.
- Ability to climb a ladder.
- Able to lift up to 55 pounds.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
- Must be able to work in the U.S.
