Position Summary: The Director of Industrialization will lead the strategic and operational execution of product realization across ARaymond North America. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless industrialization of new products, robust serial life management, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. The Director will oversee cross-functional teams including Manufacturing and Tooling Engineering, Costing, and Product Life Cycle Management, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer expectations, and ARaymond’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end industrialization process, from concept through launch and into serial production, ensuring manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
  • Oversee Serial Life Management by driving continuous improvement, cost optimization, and issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Direct Manufacturing and Tooling Engineering functions, ensuring robust process design, tooling development, and production readiness.
  • Lead Costing teams in developing accurate product cost models and supporting make/buy decisions and profitability analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, PMO, and R&D to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
  • Drive standardization and best practices across sites and functions to improve efficiency, scalability, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support strategic planning by contributing to long-term roadmaps for manufacturing capabilities, technology investments, and talent development.
  • Develop CapEx priorities aligned with Business Plan, product roadmap and annual budget cycle including ROI for major investments. 
  • All other related duties and/or projects as assigned. 
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 10-years of experience in industrialization, manufacturing engineering, or product realization, including leadership of cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record in launching complex products in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive or high-volume industries in injection molding and metal stamping/bending.
  • Strong understanding of APQP, DFMA, Lean Manufacturing, and cost modeling.
  • Experience managing multi-site operations and global program coordination.
  • Multilingual capabilities (e.g., French, German, Spanish) are a plus for global collaboration.
  • Certification in PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies preferred.
  • Experience with digital manufacturing tools, PLM systems, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
