Production Scheduling Engineer for Rochester Hills, MI to plan & schedule injection molding, assembly, hybrid & advanced manufacturing processes for assembly fastening solutions to achieve delivery targets & inventory metrics; use Master Production Schedule to create & adjust schedules; maintain capacity requirements & production plans; balance demand & resources; ensure preventive maintenance; communicate shortages & adjust plans; conduct capacity & demand forecasting; schedule tool trials without impacting fulfillment. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Automation & Controls Engineering or closely-related and 3 yrs production experience managing the Master Production Schedule of a production facility with at least 30 machines in the automotive or plastics domain; scheduling production or manufacturing of a large volume of diverse products (100 million volume & 500 different products annually); using SAP; reviewing BOMs & routing daily to ensure timely customer deliveries; scheduling multi-stage production processes; and managing high & low volume scheduling.
