The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of maintenance technicians to support production operations and equipment reliability. This role provides technical guidance, schedules and assigns maintenance work, monitors work order completion, and ensures maintenance activities are performed safely and in accordance with company standards. The Maintenance Supervisor collaborates with Operations, Engineering, and the Maintenance Manager to support equipment performance, preventive maintenance activities, and continuous improvement efforts.

Manage the work order system and ensure work orders are completed and closed in a timely manner.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to maintenance personnel.
- Ensure maintenance activities are documented in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Assign and coordinate work based on employee skills, qualifications, and workload requirements to ensure effective task completion.
- Ensure MRO (AutoCrib) procedures are followed and inventory is used appropriately.
- Monitor preventive and predictive maintenance activities to ensure work is completed according to established schedules and procedures.
- Utilize and promote the Practical Problem Solving (PPS) methodology to investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Provide feedback to Engineering regarding improvements to technical instructions, maintenance procedures, and equipment documentation.
- Ensure timely response and escalation of shop-floor issues in accordance with established escalation procedures.
- Ensure maintenance work areas, tools, and equipment are maintained in a clean, organized, and operational condition.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including OSHA and ISO 14001 standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, equipment reliability, efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Participate in internal audits and support external audits related to Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management Systems.

High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical trade certification, post-secondary technical education, or equivalent combination of maintenance experience and technical training.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in industrial maintenance, including experience leading maintenance personnel or coordinating maintenance activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to ethical and professional conduct.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and process issues.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, training, and day-to-day direction to maintenance personnel.
- Working knowledge of maintenance management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Understanding of applicable safety requirements and regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position requires frequent walking and standing throughout the manufacturing facility to support maintenance operations and respond to equipment issues. The role regularly involves inspecting equipment and may occasionally require bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, and lifting tools or materials.
