Role and responsibilities
1.1 Accountable & Ownership in handling tool maintenance asset
1.2 Progressive tools Trouble shooting personally and also lead the team as well
1.3 Monitoring the MTTR & MTBF of Tool downtime, Prepare MIS reports and action plans for improvement
1.4 Breakdown/Damages/Wear & Tear Effective analysis, Preventive actions & Validation for the same (CAPA),
1.5 Do required ECN's changes in tool parts to run machine efficiently & Execute the ECN's changes with proper documentation
1.6 Responsible for the upkeep of Tools to eliminate major breakdown and production failures
1.7 Quick response & Detailed investigation towards tool breakages &/Damages,
1.8 Spare part management, Maintain required qty of spares & Reorder considering lead time to manufacturing,
1.9 Implementation of improvements / Kaizens to enhance the productivity & quality
1.10 Provide required training to the team to enhance there skill matrix
1.11 Responsible for on time preventive maintenance as per the defined schedule
1.12 Updating of Preventive maintenance checklist
1.13 Implementation of predictive maintenance checklist & Enhancement
1.14 Creating Existing/NPD tools maintenance Check point & SOP,
1.15 Coordinate with outside vendors regarding maintenance and repair for tooling and equipment if needed
1.16 Coordinate with internal stake holders to deliver the right parts at right time ( OTIF )
1.17 Critical Tools downtime to be maintained from time to time trend wise to decrease
1.18 Adhere to Company policies, safety standards, and 5S in the work area
Education and experience
Diploma in Tool & Die making with 2 to 6 Years
