Role and responsibilities
Purchase
• Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategy locally and aligned with global strategy.
• Identify, select reliable supplier internationally & locally to procure raw material, bought out parts.
• RFQ / Negotiate process / contracts with vendors for best suitable terms & conditions.
• Liaison and work closely with different internal departments.
• Drive cost savings across the commodities.
• Assess, manage and mitigate risks.
• New product development.
• Drive purchasing functional excellence.
• Supplier relationship management.
MIS
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Prepare techno commercial comparison for quotations received and submit for necessary approval.

Education and experience
B.E./ B.Tech with 15 to 20 Years
