Reports To: Production Supervisor
We’re looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Material Handler/Technician to support our injection molding production operations. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping our machines running efficiently by ensuring a clean, continuous flow of materials and maintaining accurate inventory. If you enjoy hands‑on work, solving problems, and contributing to a clean and organized production floor, this may be the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Do- Tag, label, scan, and stage materials in SAP while following FIFO procedures
- Ensure dryers, gaylords, and material flow lines are properly maintained
- Perform moisture analysis using Vapor Pro and Sartorius Loss‑on‑Drying equipment
- Blend color masterbatch accurately based on specified let‑down ratios
- Work with both hygroscopic and non‑hygroscopic resins
- Record and maintain batch and lot tracking information in Raypro
- Verify regrind percentages and material settings on the main controller
- Assist with mold changes, including cleaning hoppers, dryers, and granulators
- Remove previous materials and parts from presses before setup
- Operate pallet jacks, electric pallet trucks, lift trucks, compactors, and balers
- Identify and resolve material line or vacuum issues
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment using 5S principles
- Follow all safety procedures, completing required training
- Assist with other duties or special projects as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work effectively across teams
- Professional conduct and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Injection molding experience is a plus, but not required
- Lift up to 55 lbs
- Stand, bend, walk, and climb ladders for the duration of the shift
- Operate pallet jacks and lift trucks (training provided)
- Accurate and timely completion of tasks
