ARaymond Türkiye operates as an important solution partner for its main industry and sub-industry customers in the automotive sector. The position will report directly to the Plastic & Mold Shop Executive and will be located in our production facility in Gebze (Kocaeli).

Role and responsibilities

  • Provide technical support during new product introduction and production ramp-up phases.
        •    Lead and support mold trials, new mold commissioning, and process validation activities.
        •    Optimize injection molding processes to improve product quality, cycle time, and energy efficiency.
        •    Analyze process parameters and production data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
        •    Support maintenance and troubleshooting activities with technical guidance.
        •    Prepare, update, and maintain process, mold, and production documentation.
        •    Conduct Moldflow analysis and support design-for-manufacturing activities.
        •    Train operators and relevant production personnel on process standards and best practices.
        •    Participate in and lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.

Education and experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
(Master’s degree is considered an asset).
    •    Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in plastic injection molding process or method engineering.
    •    Proven experience in process optimization, mold commissioning, and production support.
    •    Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.

Skills

•    Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and plastic material properties.
    •    Proficiency in Moldflow analysis and process validation tools.
    •    Familiarity with auxiliary equipment such as material dryers, conveying systems, and temperature control units.
    •    Ability to analyze production data and implement sustainable process improvements.
    •    Good command of English, both written and spoken.
    •    Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
