We are looking for a Lean Manufacturing Leader is responsible for developing LEAN working methodology in the production environment, optimizing processes to achieve optimum product quality, efficiency, and standards at the lowest cost. The position will report directly to the Production Manager and will be located in our production facility in Gebze (Kocaeli).
Role and responsibilities
- Ensuring and conveying the implementation of lean manufacturing principles throughout the company,
- Analyzing and implementing projects that will reduce waste and increase quality and efficiency in production areas,
- Leading the implementation of lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, SMED, TPM, VSM, Visual Management,
- Performing process analyses and providing effective leadership in the implementation of applications such as standard work, production balancing, and cellular manufacturing,
- Working in coordination with all departments within the scope of lean transformation projects,
- Monitoring, measuring and reporting the results of improvement studies,
- Preparing training materials and providing lean manufacturing training to employees,
- Contributing to the development of a continuous improvement culture,
- Making periodic reports.
Education and experience
- Graduated from the Industrial, Mechanical or related engineering departments of universities,
- Preferably worked in the automotive or mass production sectors.
- At least 3 years of experience in lean manufacturing applications in a manufacturing environment,
- Good level of English.
Skills
- Able to use lean manufacturing tools theoretically and practically,
- Competent in project management and teamwork,
- Experienced in process analysis, improvement and change management,
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
