Role and responsibilities
Product Development & Engineering
1.1Responsible for new products/parts (plastic tube assembly)
designing using Creo 8.0
1.2Responsible for customer query handling related to any new design/development
1.3Knowledge of nylon tubes material and forming processes
1.4Knowledge of tube structure, size, tube interfaces and materials
1.5Knowledge of tube routing, Design guide
1.6DefiniƟon of functional analysis and DFMEA at a system level
1.7ValidaƟon of technical bricks
1.8Responsible for manufacturing of proto tooling and parts submission
1.9Responsible for monitoring and recording quality, cost and delivery time of each project
1.10Responsible for daily/weekly work planning for the project being handled.
1.11Responsible for new product technical feasibility study, Design review, DVP etc
1.12Responsible for Project documentation as per QMS & should have knowledge in APQP process
1.13Responsible for generating new product ideas/innovative products
1.14Product Feature Standardization
1.15Product benchmarking analysis/Line Walk/Tier down
1.16RFQ hit rate improvement
1.17CAD data Management
1.18Responsible for audits internal, customer as well as 3rd party.
Sales & Marketing, program management, Tooling, Quality, Operations, Costing Be the technical key contact to internal departments (sales, purchasing, supply chain, program management, lab…) and externally to component and material suppliers. Be the technical referent for OEMs & Tier1 and manage product design activities in coordination and cooperation with the project team

B.E/ B.TECH with 12 to 15 Years
