About the job
Be part of the legal team in charge of legal support in business law including Intellectual Property, for ARaymond Network Companies worldwide.
This position reports to the Global Legal Manager, based in Grenoble.
Roles and responsibilities
- Providing legal services in business law and commercial contracts, including preliminary review of IP issues with further involvement of the IP department for ARaymond Network Companies
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating various types of commercial transaction (NDA, General terms & Conditions, R&D contracts, Supply agreements, Purchasing contracts…)
- Advising operational teams (sales, purchasing, marketing, finance…) regarding proposed or existing legal matters and resolving issues that arise out such commercial relationships
- Ensuring, effective coordination and harmonization of legal approach and cooperation between all companies of the ARaymond Network with the other Global Legal Counsels
- Ensuring resolution of commercial disputes, litigation settlements
- Leading communication and internal training and awareness actions (i.e. anti-trust, commercial contracts)
- Taking care of global specific topics/projects for the Network (i.e. contract templates)
Education and experience
- 5 years law degree with 2 to 5 years relevant experience of practical legal work, in-house experiences within the industry and in an international environment.
Skills
- Very good knowledge of Contracts and IP matters.
- Fluent French and English.
- Knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.
- Willing to travel 10 % minimum to ARaymond Network Companies in France and worldwide.
- Customer-oriented approach, ability to manage deadlines and deliver on time.
- International vision, ability to work consistently with any subsidiary.
- Open minded, ability to propose creative and pragmatic solutions.
