Position Summary: The Technical Sales Engineer serves as the primary strategic and technical liaison between the company and our key clients. Thriving at the intersection of engineering and commerce, the incumbent acts as a trusted advisor who diagnoses technical challenges and architect solutions, from our portfolio or customized. This role leads the technical discovery process, simplifies complex concepts for stakeholders at all levels, and leverages expert relationship-building skills to negotiate and close high-impact deals. Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Maps US market landscapes, identifying key decision-makers, supply chain owners, and competitive threats.
  • Identifies and qualifies prospects aligned with the Value Proposition to meet Business Plan revenue targets.
  • Converts high-level business plans into actionable account strategies for specific target verticals.
  • Feeds local market information to PLM to support new product lines and global market offerings.
  •  Secures stakeholder access through tailored elevator pitches and high-impact technical presentations.
  • Executes the full sales cycle, utilizing negotiation and value-based selling to close complex deals.
  • Owns and accountable for Pricing, contractual negotiation (development, supply agreements, etc.).
  • Cultivates long-term client partnerships, anticipating and addressing evolving technical needs.
  • With support of PLM, helps translates complex requirements into Engineering Requirements for New Developments.
  • Performs root cause analysis and provides technical troubleshooting during product integration.
  • Orchestrates communication between customers and internal teams (R&D, Engineering, Logistics) to meet project milestones.
  • With support of PLM. delivers "Voice of the Customer" insights to R&D and Marketing to influence the product innovation pipeline.
  • Supports custom solution development to ensure design standards and safety compliance for product launches.
  • Authors technical documentation and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintains meticulous records of sales activities, customer engagements, and project status.
  • Other related duties and/or projects as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years of relevant experience related to the vertical required.
  • 3+ years of proven track record and experience within the industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in product development, technical sales, or comparable role.
  • Proven experience in engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
Skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Capable of conducting technical and sales presentations to key clients.
  • Proficiency with CRM / ERP (Salesforce, SAP etc.).

  • Must be able to work in the office for collaborative purposes.
  • Frequent Travel by air, car, or other methods of travel.
