In 2005, the company started its journey in Turkey and has been operating in Gebze, Kocaeli as an important solution partner for the main industry and sub-industry customers in the automotive sector. We are looking for a Product Development Engineer with the following qualifications to be a valuable member of our dynamic team.
Role and responsibilities
- Analyze customer technical requirements.
- Conduct product research.
- Deliver technical presentations to introduce existing parts or new designs.
- Support the Business Development (Sales) team during the pricing (RFQ) process by selecting raw materials and purchased components, analyzing 3D models, weight data, and researching components.
- Analyze existing designs received from customers.
- Participate in technical meetings with customers to obtain support on technical matters.
- Create new designs based on existing forms using CREO.
- Develop entirely new and innovative designs not based on existing forms using CREO.
- Collaborate with the mold team to develop manufacturable 3D models and share mold-ready designs (including Moldflow analysis).
- Prepare Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) documentation.
- Perform dimensional analysis on designed parts.
- Analyze performance test results.
- Organize and monitor internal project tasks.
- Participate in technical meetings related to customer projects.
- Use the CAD library (Windchill) to locate technical data of existing parts.
- Conduct customer visits.
- Actively follow and work in alignment with the project schedule.
- Prepare the Design Verification Plan (DVP) for designed parts in collaboration with the customer.
- Plan, monitor, and report part validation tests (including preparation of the DVP).
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 1-3 year of experience (preferred) in automotive product development processes.
- Knowledge of plastic injection and plastic part design.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software, especially Creo and Catia (preferred).
- Advanced verbal and written English skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
