This role is responsible for implementing and supporting SAP Quality Management solutions to ensure product quality, compliance, and process efficiency. It also contributes to organizational knowledge through documentation, training, and collaboration with global teams. Role and responsibilities
- Configure SAP QM modules including inspection lots, quality notifications, certificates, and control charts.
- Integrate QM with MM, PP, SD, and PM modules.
- Support quality planning, inspection, and control processes.
- Design and implement quality processes such as incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection.
- Develop functional specifications for custom reports and enhancements.
- Collaborate with technical teams for SmartForms, OData, and ABAP developments.
- Conduct workshops, training, and testing activities.
- Document configuration and process flows.
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement.
Education and experience
Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering/technology
Specialization:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong proficiency in the following areas:
• Hands-on experience in at least 1 full-cycle SAP QM implementations and global support
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and Fiori apps for maintenance management.
• Experience in regulatory compliance and audit support is a plus
• Experience working on SAP PM is an added advantage
Experience :
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP QM implementation, support working in a multicultural environment
Skills
- SAP QM configuration and customization
- Integration with SAP modules (MM, PP, PM)
- Basic ABAP debugging and functional specification writing
- Understanding of SmartForms and Adobe Forms for quality documentation
- SAP PM configuration and customization (optional)
