Working in a clean, green and high-tech production environment, you’ll help build cutting-edge fastening and assembly systems for the everyday innovations we all rely on.

To be the first contact for customers and suppliers in incidents, internally coordinating the solution and follow-up until final closure. To deal with customer queries and complaints with an immediate first response and subsequent continuous monitoring of incidents, maintaining contact with the customer in order to obtain the required levels of satisfaction. Quality assurance of suppliers and their continuous development in order to achieve the company's objectives. He will also prepare approval reports for new parts, participating in the project up to the preparation of the PPAP dossier. Support in the preparation of homologation and metrology reports. Monitoring of projects at homologation level, preparation and monitoring of first samples and management of metrology in the laboratory.

Role and responsibilities
  • First response to customers/suppliers and support for technical queries.
  • Attention to customer complaints, registration of incidents and creation of 8D analysis reports.
  • Monitoring of customer satisfaction and on-time response indicators. 
  • Support in internal analysis of complaints, participation in analysis meetings and creation of metrology reports.
  • Frequent visits to customers in order to achieve quality standards.
  • Periodically auditing suppliers to ensure the required level of quality, assisting them in the innovation and development of their processes.
  • Negotiation of customer charges
  • Preparation of approvals according to customer's PPAP requirements, preparation of documentation and metrology.
  • Preparation of control plans in SAP
  • IMDS Management
  • Manage re-qualifications of serial parts
  • Participate in new development projects in the role of Quality Projects.
  • Assist with feasibility and manage internal/external laboratory testing.
Education and experience
  • Technical Engineer
  • 2-3 years' experience in the automotive industry in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of automotive quality and ISO and IATF standards
  • Core Tools Knowledge (PPAP, MSA, FMEA, R&R...)
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Experience in customer/supplier complaint handling
  • Experience in PPAP documentation for Tier's and OEM (VW / FORD and Stellantis).
  • Experience in VDA 6.3 audits
Skills
  • Catalan/Spanish and fluent spoken and written English.
  • French and German desirable.
