We believe the way we work shapes who we are. So we’ve placed the values we support most at the heart of our business. But not just for the occasional end-of-the-year inspirational speech: our idea of corporate culture is one of action, not words.
We make a point in standing by our core values every day: Respect, Collaboration, Innovation, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Value Creation, and Pleasure.
“People engagement is of utmost importance. During our 150 years of experience, this has enabled us to succeed and never stop innovating.” Antoine Raymond, CEO
It all begins with listening, listening actively. Letting colleagues and partners fully express their opinions and thoughts is the first step toward fruitful collaborations. Naturally, these can only thrive on care. For us, this means behaving with every single person around us in an ethical, responsible and fair manner. And we do mean it.
Pleasure is exemplified in every aspect of what we do: innovating, creating added value, collaborating and exploring. That’s why we are convinced that pleasure has a lot to do with meaningfulness: it simply makes more sense to come to work for something that matters.
Pleasure is also at the core of the way we promote well-being each day. At ARaymond, we know that it is not an individual matter: it is better achieved through trust and support.
We are adventurers – the business kind. Every day we explore and take risks to further develop our Network. To do so, we encourage initiatives and provide the appropriate means for great products to succeed.
Making a difference takes not only good ideas but also great talent to bring them to life. For us, such talent should always express itself both among directors and teams. Motivation and local empowerment are two paths to freedom we have always had our focus on.
We cannot think of a better way to do business than constantly questioning the existing and encouraging out-of-the-box ideas. So that’s what we do.
Advanced technologies, intelligent products, new processes, different markets: we are always pushing forward, keeping on track with the pioneer spirit instilled by the founder of the ARaymond Network.
When facing the challenges of globalization, isolation is not an option. We firmly believe that we can accomplish more collectively, so we make sure a strong collaborative mindset shapes every day in the Network. We do so by encouraging team spirit, trust and empathy: for each of us, collaboration is not only about going further, is it also a key to well-being.
Our name signals innovation and improvement. To deliver on both, we dedicate special attention to value creation. It begins with enabling everyone to provide ideas with tangible added value, to develop new skills and competences and to access the satisfaction of exceeding our customer’s expectations. And it never quite finishes…
So what makes a meaningful company? First there is its culture. We have always believed well-being should be central to ours. The ARaymond Network offers a framework in which each employee can make a difference and enjoy managing and accomplishing his/her tasks.
We are convinced that it is important to move toward a new leadership mindset. We believe management needs to become more collaborative and people-focused.
Obviously, such commitment calls for a conscious and discerning management style. So we have turned to the “Servant Leader” approach, placing the leader at the service of its teams. For us, encouraging supportive listening to stimulate talents and reinforcing collaboration are the best ways to get real about innovation.
25 countries, 13 languages, 6 markets and 4 continents. When we use the word cultural diversity, we know what we are talking about: our daily reality. Meetings, workshops and training sessions are frequently organized to promote exchanges among teams from different backgrounds.
While we are built on a single family company culture, we capitalize on strong cultural diversity!
The international growth of the ARaymond Network over the past forty years has led to a five-fold increase in the number of employees. Unsurprisingly, they all have one thing in common: strong values of respect and collaboration. Proud to support a human and responsible company, men and women in the Network demonstrate exceptional loyalty and ensure the successful transmission of our knowledge and expertise.
We believe success and social responsibility should always come hand in hand. So over the years, we have integrated social, environmental and safety concerns in our activity both at a global and at a local scale.
Network-wide examples of this involvement include the adoption of the servant leadership approach to management, the Lead certification of all our buildings no matter where on the map, and our affiliation to the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative program UN Global Contact.
At a country level, the Network accounts for countless actions addressing local priorities and needs: while India and Brazil run many family and community oriented plans for instance, France dedicates particular attention to gender equity, diversity and inclusion programs.
